MEET YOUR ACUPUNCTURIST

 

Victoria Sous graduated with honors from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She received her Bachelors Degree in Human Services with a minor in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.

 

Her four-year masters program included over 3,000 hours of study and over 1,000 hours of clinical internship at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine's Student Clinic and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine's Community Acupuncture Center. She expanded her clinical experiences externships in Project Vida Acupuncture Clinic in Little Village and Chicago Women's Health Center in Chicago. She has two years of experience as the clinical volunteer at Mercy Hospital Community Acupuncture Department where she gained perspective on utilizing an integrative approach to healthcare while  collaboratively with physicians and other medical professionals in a hospital setting.

 

She has treated a number of health ailments ranging from women’s health issues, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome, musculoskeletal disorders, migraine headaches, pain management, digestive issues, crohn's disease, weight management, and psychological disorders such as depression and anxiety.

 

Victoria has developed a passion for redefining health as not the absence of physical disease but a cultivation of physical, mental and emotional growth for overall well-being.With a foundation of Chinese Medicine, addressing diet, lifestyle, exercise, and emotional well-being, she empowers each patient to take control of their health one step at a time.
